What counts as a small handyman job
If a job takes somewhere between fifteen minutes and a full day, it is probably ours. Small handyman jobs are the work most contractors would rather not put on the schedule: patching drywall, rehanging a door that no longer latches, swapping a disposal, getting a TV mounted straight and level.
We do not have a minimum job size that rules out the little stuff. The little stuff is the point.
How we price minor home repairs
Home repair services are billed hourly with a one hour minimum, plus materials. You get the rate before we start. If something looks like it will run longer than expected, you hear about it while we are still standing there, not when the invoice arrives.
Grouping several minor home repairs into one visit is almost always cheaper than booking them one at a time, so send the whole list rather than the worst item on it.
What we bring
Our crews carry what the common repairs need, so most visits finish the same day. When a job needs a part we do not stock, you get the cost and a return date rather than a half finished room and a vague promise.
What we hand off
We are not a licensed electrician, plumber, or HVAC contractor. Panel work, re-piping, gas lines, and full system replacements go to a licensed specialist. We will say so on the first call and point you toward someone worth using, rather than guessing at it.
Common questions
- Is there someone who will take care of small jobs around my house?
- Small jobs are the core of what we do rather than an afterthought. Anything from about fifteen minutes to a full day usually fits. Since billing is hourly with a one hour minimum, batching several items into a single visit costs less than booking them one at a time.
- Do you have a minimum job size?
- No. There is a one hour minimum on billing, but no rule about how small a job can be. A single sticking door is a perfectly normal reason to call.
