UpKeep Home Management Solutions is a locally owned handyman and home maintenance company based in Missoula, Montana. We started it because the gap between "needs a contractor" and "I'll get to it" is where most homes quietly fall apart.

Meet the founder: John C. Bentz
I founded UpKeep Home Management to give Missoula homeowners a dependable resource for the everyday responsibilities of maintaining and improving their homes.
I bring more than 20 years of experience in business operations, management, and problem-solving. Much of my career has been spent in transportation operations, risk management, and dispute resolution, where attention to detail, sound judgment, clear communication, and accountability were essential. I've managed complex operations, led teams, worked through difficult situations, and coordinated professionals across multiple industries.
My hands-on background includes mechanical maintenance, equipment repair, fabrication, and aircraft maintenance. Aircraft work in particular teaches you to do things by the checklist, document what you did, and never assume a small issue will stay small. I bring that same discipline to every home we take care of.
I'm a University of Montana graduate and a Missoula resident. I value reliability, integrity, and personal service, and I built UpKeep to reflect all three.
