Questions
Before you sign up.
Home maintenance for busy homeowners only works if the admin side is simple. Here is how ours runs.
- Are your home maintenance services affordable?
- We aim to be fairly priced rather than cheapest. Plans run from $45 a month, and one-off repairs are hourly with a one hour minimum plus materials, at a rate you hear before work starts. Where a plan actually saves money is by catching small faults before they turn into large ones.
- What area do you cover?
- We're based in Missoula and travel throughout Missoula County and the Bitterroot: Lolo, Frenchtown, Bonner, Clinton, Florence, Stevensville and the surrounding area. If you're not sure you're in range, just ask.
- How do you charge for one-off work?
- Repair work is billed hourly with a one-hour minimum, plus materials. We give you the rate up front and flag anything that looks like it'll run long before we keep going.
- Do I have to be home for the visit?
- Not for most exterior and common maintenance work. Plenty of our plan members leave a lockbox code. You get photos and a written report either way.
- Is there a contract on the maintenance plans?
- No. Plans are month-to-month. Change tiers or cancel whenever. We'd rather earn the next visit.
- What won't you take on?
- We're not a licensed electrician, plumber or HVAC contractor, so panel work, re-piping and system replacements go to a specialist. We'll tell you that early and point you to someone good rather than guess.
- How fast can you get out here?
- Typical lead time for a non-urgent repair is a few business days. Plan members get priority and same-week or next-day response depending on tier.
