Timber & Linen handles cleaning for homes and small businesses across Missoula and the Clark Fork Valley, under the line every detail, cared for. We keep a house working. They keep it clean. Those two jobs land next to each other often enough that coordinating them is worth the trouble.
Who does this work: All cleaning described on this page is performed by Timber & Linen, not by UpKeep. We coordinate scheduling so repairs and cleaning happen in the right order. We are not the contractor for cleaning work and we do not warranty it. Their pricing, scope and scheduling are theirs to set.
Where our work stops and theirs starts
Their published list of what they do not take on reads almost like a description of us: repairs and construction work, anything needing a tall ladder, moving heavy items, exterior cleaning, and vent or duct work. Every one of those is ours.
Ours stops at the other end. We are not a cleaning company and have no intention of becoming one. Between the two of us there is very little that falls through the gap.
Rental turnovers, in the right order
This is the clearest overlap. A turnover between guests or tenants is two separate jobs that both have to finish before the next booking.
We do the make-ready side: wall repair and touch up paint, the fixtures and blinds that did not survive the stay, hardware that stopped closing properly. Timber & Linen does the full reset between guests, linens and beds included, and reports anything they find back to the owner.
Sequencing is the part people get wrong. Repairs first, cleaning second, or you are paying to clean up after your own contractor.
Move-out and move-in
Move-out cleans and turnover repairs land in the same week almost by definition. Their move-in and move-out service covers inside cabinets, drawers and closets, inside the oven and refrigerator, baseboards, switches and fixtures, and the floors throughout.
We take whatever the walkthrough turned up on the repair side. Running both as one coordinated piece of work beats pointing two schedules at the same vacancy and hoping.
Recurring cleaning alongside recurring maintenance
They run recurring home care weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Our maintenance plans run seasonal, quarterly or monthly. Different rhythms, because the work is different, but the same underlying idea: a house holds up better on a schedule than it does on a reaction.
Where we both reach
Timber & Linen covers Missoula and the Clark Fork Valley, from Bonner out to Superior. We cover Missoula and the towns around it. The overlap is Missoula, Bonner, Clinton, Frenchtown and Lolo, so those are the addresses where coordinating the two of us is most straightforward.
Outside the overlap each of us still works our own ground. Ask, and we will tell you plainly which of us reaches you.
How it starts
Every Timber & Linen service begins with a complimentary walkthrough, and their quotes are flat rate. If you want both sides handled, mention cleaning when you request service from us and we will make the introduction rather than leaving you to chase it.
Want the house and the clean sorted together?
Mention cleaning when you request service from UpKeep and we will bring Timber & Linen into the schedule rather than handing you a phone number.
